On safari in South Africa, we were keen to see some rhinos. However, they were a bit skittish and hid in the bushes when they heard the jeep.

During our motor-home tour of New Zealand, we stumbled across a town called Wanaka on the South Island. I couldn't believe the tourist map, which seemed to indicate that it was possible to hire a two-seater, former military, jet plane and fly it over the town and lake.
